What we do

Our nationally approved progression framework shapes the activities we deliver to schools and colleges. The framework is designed to be an outreach curriculum, structured around five key themes.

Information, advice and guidance

Informative and interactive workshops giving key information about university courses, finance and much more.

University visits and experiences

Providing campus experiences at one for our many university or college partners.

Curriculum enhancement

Engaging subject-specific sessions designed to spark a love of learning, supporting attainment and aspiration.

Careers and employability

Linking higher education to future employment, supporting learners to create pathways and networks.

Confidence, Wellbeing and Resilience

Ensuring young people are well equipped to make a successful journey through education by building their confidence and resilience.

What other schools have said

We have seen traditionally very low aspirations with regards to progression to Higher Education. Higher Horizons are an invaluable addition to the work we do to raise aspirations, remove barriers and reduce the attainment gap for our students.
