Become a HiHo Ambassador

We need you to help us help young people think about what they might like to do in the future. Student Ambassadors are key to these learners’ experiences, from providing invaluable advice at residentials, to offering their insights at careers fairs, to sharing their own journeys through education and the choices they’ve made along the way.

Higher Horizons+ does not represent any one university. We’re an impartial service that helps students make informed decisions about their futures. Higher Horizons+ Student Ambassadors come from our partner universities: Keele, Staffordshire, Chester and Harper Adams. Since Higher Horizons+ launched in 2017, our Student Ambassadors have become e-mentors, taken part in residential summer schools, and provided one-on-one advice to NCOP learners via The Access Platform.

To become a Higher Horizons+ Student Ambassador you must already be a Student Ambassador at your university. Please note: your applications will be assessed against how well it meets the criteria listed in the job description. If your application is successful, you will be invited to a training session held at your university to learn more about Higher Horizons+, our partner universities, and the opportunities available to you as a Higher Horizons+ Student Ambassador. Note: Hourly payment will be at the same rate as your standard SA rate as decided by your university of study. You will not hold a separate ambassador contract with Higher Horizons+ as a Higher Horizons+ Student Ambassador.
